Are You Volunteering?

Today's a great day. I finally get to start my blog on one of the subjects that I'm most passionate about. I'll start off with a question for all you Internet Surfers out there. Are you Volunteering? And If not - why not? Perhaps you've never really thought about it, or you think you don't have the time or you will wait for the right time. To tell you the truth, the right time is today, or as soon as possible.



When I first decided I would volunteer, I had little or no time at all but I wanted to make a difference - so I worked on my schedule and somehow found the time. I started out volunteering with a Human Resources Professional Association and later on started with Seed Of Life (SOLPO) in 2006. It wasn't difficult to identify with the SOLPO's key objectives - as the organization strives to educate people about the dangers of Sickle Cell Anemia.



Well i Intend to use this blog to make make the world a little more aware of the remarkable benefits of volunteering your time - to support a cause, or an initiative you believe in. So, if you're thinking about volunteering or you'd like learn more about what it entails - stay tuned. I'll provide my insights and I'd be glad to read and respond to your comments.
